Right to manage
The Commonhold and Leasehold Reform Act 2002 provides the right for leaseholders’ to transfer the landlord's management duties to a company set up and run by themselves. This right was introduced as a means of empowering leaseholders as it was recognised that the leaseholders generally hold the majority of the value in the property.

Bruton Street Management is able to advise leaseholders on all aspects of the right to manage and take them through the process in its entirety.

Our founding partner, Andrew Kafkaris, recently provided evidence to a House of Lords debate on Leaseholders’ Right to Manage. He also guided Millbank Court through a leasehold enfranchisement, negotiating new lease terms of 999 years for members of the freehold company.

“We only employ professionals to advise and manage the Right to Manage process on your behalf.”
